Mrs. Jaszy,also known as Jasmine Anderson, was born on January 5, 1988 in Chicago,IL. She grew up on the Southside of Chicago in what was called the Wild 100's.She attended elementary school at Peter Van Vlissigen, which soon became Mildred I. Lavizzo.
In April of 1998,at the age of 10, she lost her father due to a heart attack.In April of 2002, four years later, she lost her mom due to kidney cancer. She continued going to school and got her diploma from the eighth grade in June of 2002. In August of 2002, she moved to Murfreesboro,TN with her oldest sister and began high school at Blackman High School.Where she earned her high school diploma in May of 2006.
She continued her education in January of 2007 at Middle Tennessee State University, where she remained for two semesters. Her second semester there she worked for Culture Shock Mag, which was an online magazine which covered Music, Fashion, and Culture. She met various artists, and soon began to fall in love with the entertainment industry.
When everything didn't work out there she created her own blog,Hella Jaszy Swagg, in May of 2008, which covered Music, Fashion, and Daily Issues. Where she is the CEO & Founder, and does all the updates as well as interviews on her own.
In July of 2008, she moved to Atlanta,GA to attend college at AIU Dunwoody. Where she is now majoring in Business Administration.
When it comes to her inspirations, she says "I do it simply for my nieces and nephews. We aren't that far apart in age, and I know that they look up to me being that I am their aunt. I want to show them that anybody can come from nothing and at the end of the day have something. I especially want to show my nephews whose fathers aren't in their life, that their are other ways to making money other than selling drugs and/or being in gangs."
